Rebecka Blomqvist is a Copenhagen based architect, engaging in projects in the Nordic countries. The practice is founded on a less but better philosophy of simple design and natural materials, inspired by Nordic building traditions and culture.
In 2021, Rebecka Blomqvist won the architectural competition Maatullin School, Kindergarten & Playground with the entry The Forest Glade. The project is a design collaboration in the name Fors Blomqvist together with Sofia Fors at Fors Arkitekter. The client is the City of Helsinki, and construction is set to be finished in 2024.
