Rebel just for kicks was started by a student angered by the government’s lackluster response to the COVID-19 pandemic and wanted to create a platform which empower the voice of teenagers . Originally an organization that strived to raise funds to provide facilities with personal protection equipment, we quickly recognized that the power of the arts and words could be extended to foster other areas of social impact.
The Rebel just for kicks utilizing unique perspectives obtained from the arts to address current issues. As artists, we have seen how art, writings and articles can transform and unify people; its impact on the world can be so profound and endearing. However, it is often undervalued and underappreciated today in society.
Through this organization, we hope to inspire others to develop a sense of empowerment and leadership and ultimately showcase the transformative abilities that teenagers can bring to the world.
