Why Did We Open Recharge? We've been practicing doctors of physical therapy for several years. Over the years we started to realize that healthy is defined by unhealthy. It became very clear that healthcare was designed on a reactive, instead of a proactive foundation. People had to become sick, injured or worn down to realize there was an issue. Research of national numbers on obesity, opioids addiction, and depression certainly supported that theory. There had to be a better way. Our community deserves better. That’s why Recharge was created. We not only used our experience as clinicians, but we also looked at emerging research and data. We know that exercise has tremendous benefit both physically and mentally. We know that physical therapy helps people move better and become pain-free naturally and effectively. Finally, we know tracking health data and metrics can help show data trends for possible emerging issues. Yet, those three services are typically silo’d between different providers or companies. It’s hard enough to find time for one! Recharge integrates group fitness, physical therapy and health data all in one membership. All under one roof. Group fitness classes are developed and led by doctors of physical therapy in 3-month cycles. Physical therapy is one on one and always with a doctor of physical therapy so there are no wait times, no insurance limitations and no guessing who your clinician will be. Health data is tracked everything members come in, and for some even away from the facility. Recharge is a place you can come to feel better. To move better. To live a healthier life.
