Recovery Reform Overview

Recovery Reform represents an important shift in how we approach substance use and recovery. Recovery Reform is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support to substance treatment programs and building recovery community centered around harm reduction principles and challenging traditional abstinence-only narratives. Our podcast “Recovery Reform: Navigating Harm Reduction, Recovery, and Drug Policy" explores substance use disorders, harm reduction, and recovery through discussions with people with lived experience, experts in harm reduction and drug policy, and leaders in addiction psychology and treatment. Hosted by our Executive Director, McCauley Sexton, and our Medical Director, Dr. Taylor Nichols, each episode provides candid conversations about substance use, the impact of policy and the harms of the war on drugs, and fights to break the stigma against drugs and the people who use them.
