Reddingsbrigade Notwin Reddingsbrigade Notwin is opgericht in 1973 in Hoorn. Wij zijn aangesloten bij de bond Reddingsbrigades Nederland, (KNBRD). De vereniging is in die jaren uitgegroeid tot een professionele organisatie waar vele leden enthousiast leren zwemmend redden op zaterdagochtend en /of hun conditie zwemmen op zondagavond. Een groot aantal leden zet zich in voor de varend redden groep. Deze groep vrijwilligers is actief betrokken bij de bewaking en veiligheid op het Markermeer. De reddingsboot is 24 uur per dag, 7 dagen per week beschikbaar voor reddingsacties. Voor het alarmeren van de reddingsboot belt u 1-1-2. Voor alarmering via de marifoon roept u het kustwachtcentrum in Den Helder, noodkanaal 16, op.
