Regent Music Overview

Based in the rainy-yet-beautiful English Lake District, Regent Music was set up in 2012 by Phil Simpson, after 3 years working with Adastra – the long-standing and well respected agency based in East Yorkshire. The new company was formed from a love & passion for the job and a desire to represent & develop acts in the Acoustic/Folk/Roots genres in the UK and overseas. Regent Music may be a new project, but Phil is by no means a newcomer to the music industry, having previously booked tours for top names such as Lúnasa, Juan Martin, and Colin Hay. Phil has been promoting gigs, organising & programming festivals since the age of 16, and is a musician himself in his spare (!) time. Regent Music organises & co-ordinates tours, festival appearances & one-off concerts for its acts – with a passion, huge attention to detail, and a ‘developing’ and career-building ethos.
