RCED came into existence during 1995 and is committed to promote skill and entrepreneurship development, in the States of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttrakhand, Rajasthan, Delhi and Union Territory of Chandigarh. RCED has expertise in conducting vocational and entrepreneurship development training programs and thereby help the beneficiaries tap suitable self/waged employment opportunities. RCED has the following unique distinctions:- •Empaneled Accredited Consultant for SIDBI (Small Industries Development Bank of India) •Empaneled as Skill Training Provider with Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh (MCC) under EST&P Component of DAY-NULM •Empaneled as Skill Training Provider with State Urban Development Society Haryana (SUDSH) under EST&P Component of DAY-NULM •Empaneled as Skill Training Provider with State Urban Development Authority (SUDA) •Empaneled with Chandigarh , Punjab, Haryana Skill Development Mission for conducting Skill Training programmes •Empaneled as Hand-holding Agency under Standup India Programme of GOI with SIDBI (Small Industries Development Bank of India) •Empaneled with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) •Nodal Agency for undertaking Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Trainings •Training Partner of Tech Mahindra Foundation for SMART(Skills for Market Training) •Training Partner of various national institutes and associations such as Retailers Association’s Skill Council of India, Automotive Skills Development Council, Leather Sector Skill Council, Telecom Sector Skill Council, Plumbing Sector Skill Council, Tynor Orthotics (P) Ltd, Mohali for its CSR Program etc. •Empaneled as Hub Partner of Tata Institute of Social Sciences – School of Vocational Education (TISS- SVE) •Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development (STED) Project
