The Regional Economic Consulting Group is an economic research group that provides the latest in econometric modelling and statistical evaluation of pending projects, expansions, and legislation for our client’s needs.
The core of our services revolves around building economic impact analyses, where the Group builds a numbers-based justification to help our clients with pending legislation, local government relations, and investment relations. We use the latest techniques and software in econometric modelling to build dynamic products that go beyond a basic return investment. We examine at a granular level what sort of value add our projects and clients are adding to the economy, numbers of jobs, and the taxes paid. Our analyses take steps further to look at impacts along the supply chain and consumer spending will impact regional economies.
The Regional Economic Consulting Group is founded by two former state economists. Dr Clyde Diao is a former Deputy Policy Coordinator from Florida’s Office of Policy and Budget under the Governor. Mr Jared Parker comes from the Florida Legislatures’ Office of Economic and Demographic Research, the Legislature’s economic arm. Together the two with more than forty years of experience in economic analysis, founded the Regional Economic Consulting Group and apply their skillset to the private sector.
