REIN = REINFORCED
When the abbreviation of reinforced, (REIN), is appended to the end of a military formation (ie squad or platoon) it is a meant to describe the addition of non-organic capabilities, intentionally placed, to produce a desired effect for a specific mission.
REIN DEFENSE (“REIN”) was developed to reinforce warfighter training with real-world expertise and the latest defense technologies from across the joint and partner communities. Our MISSION is to assess fieldcraft and tactics; facilitate field testing of the latest tech; collect warfighter feedback; and innovate TTPs in order to prepare warfighters for the modern, complex battlefield.
REIN’s PURPOSE is to enhance warfighter tactics, fieldcraft, and education by using expertise and technology from across the defense ecosystem to stay current on best practices and TTPs so warfighters are equipped to fight and win in our next conflict.
