We spent time building and contributing to ecosystems for minority tech entrepreneurs. Now we're funding the most exceptional tech entrepreneurs the ecosystem has to offer. Our investments are focused on early stage US based tech companies founded by Black & Latin American innovators. Our team is comprised of veteran venture capital investors, venture fund operating managers, tech M&A lawyers, ecosystem builders, successful tech entrepreneurs, and even diplomats. We are bound together by mission and purpose. We obsess over creating massive investment returns and impact by discovering and funding the most promising underrepresented minority tech entrepreneurs. We aim to close the venture funding gap, which we estimate to be as large as $33 billion. This is the amount of funding that should be reaching Black and Latin American entrepreneurs. However, this overlooked market receives less than 2.5%, or <$4 billion annually, of venture funding. "Pipeline problem," is the typical scapegoat. There is no "pipeline problem" when it comes to funding underrepresented minority tech entrepreneurs. Our ecosystem is filled with brilliant entrepreneurs and companies. We have unique access to strong deal flow. We research, discover, fund and work with minority innovators and technologists who are exploiting extraordinary opportunities. We believe that investing in underserved tech entrepreneurs can create both social impact and significant market based investment returns.
