We, at Relicus Bio are a Research and Development oriented team focused on developing commercially feasible bioprocess technologies for fermentation based microbial metabolites. We work through bioprospecting bacteria producing industrially important microbial metabolites and attempt to optimize the yield at lab scale and further validate it through step wise scale up in Bioreactors up to a capacity of 300 L. Throughout the process our primary focus will be to ensure the economic feasibility of the process and maximum viability of the products. Some of the metabolites we are currently working on include astaxanthin, zeaxanthin, ectoine, melanin, therapeutic exopolysaccharides etc.
