In October of 2013, the owner closed Rennob's and retired. Thank you for your business over the years! Rennob's was a contract packaging company located in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The original business was founded by brothers Carl and Donald Scioscia. Carl was an executive at Harper & Row in the Warehousing division while Donald ran Books and Things, a bookstore in downtown Scranton. Susan O'Hearn, Carl's daughter, became the sole proprietor of the business in 1990. Rennob's specialized in book packaging and display assembly and was located in a warehouse along the Lackawanna River. The closure was correlated with HarperCollins moving its distribution center and warehousing operations away from Northeastern Pennsylvania.
