Our Research Cluster is a cooperation between seven universities in Lower Saxony (Clausthal University of Technology, Georg August University Göttingen, Leibniz University Hannover, Leuphana University Lüneburg, Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg, University of Osnabrück, University of Vechta) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Information Technology. As part of the “Research Cluster” funding line, we are supported by the Volkswagen Foundation and the Ministry of Science and Culture of Lower Saxony from the zukunft.niedersachsen program.
The research cluster “Behavioral Economics and Social Transformation” systematically networks various locations in Lower Saxony in research, teaching and transfer activities. It comprises an interdisciplinary team of professors whose research focuses on the field of behavioral economics. We investigate the effects of various transformation processes on different social groups. The focus is on the analysis of behavioral changes triggered by transformation and changes in economic outcomes as well as their interactions.
