Resilient Women Network is a group of volunteer women mostly senior Parliamentarians,politicians, academicians and lawyers. The RESILIENT WOMEN NETWORK (RWN) is a Non-Government and Non-Profit developmental organization working for the underprivileged communities of Pakistan.  The RESILIENT WOMEN NETWORK is registered with Balochistan Charities registration and regulation authority (Registration, regulation, and Facilitation) Act No. XI OF 2019(Government of Balochistan Pakistan. The idea of RWN was concieved in 2008 by a group of women gathered to deliberate how they can participate in community development by playing a positive role to make this world a better place to live in, specifically our country Pakistan. Realizing this responsibility, the said group of women joined hands with the aim “Elevate and Educate"the underprivileged communities as equal citizens of Pakistan. The group started individual efforts to support the underprivileged communities through different activities.  However, in 2020 COVID-19 changed the mindset of the group to do extra effort for the underprivileged communities of the country so this thought push the active members of the groups to register.   VISION: Underprivileged communities are mainstreamed for sustainable development.    MISSION:         Elevate and Educate the underprivileged communities by promoting basic rights, enhancing awareness, provision of basic needs, access to information and eliminating of gender imbalances   OBJECTIVES: ·        To promote self-help initiatives and nurture the growth of stakeholders. ·        To facilitate a program approach prioritizing Health, Livelihood, Education, Capacity Building, Crisis Management, and Protection of the Environment. ·        To Highlight the cross-cutting themes of gender, human rights, peacebuilding, and transitional justice and advocacy.     BASIC PRINCIPLES: ·        Equal and equitable participation in decision-making of all the stakeholders ensuring marginalized groups at the grassroots level irrespective of caste, color, creed, gender, and religion eliminating all forms of discrimination. ·        Promote the communities through their participation and create a sense of ownership. ·        Develop the capacity for sustainable development that leads to self-reliance and self-decision.
