EU-LAC ResInfra Plus Overview

[ENG] EU-LAC RESINFRA PLUS is a project funded by the Horizon 2020 program (EU Framework Program for R&I), as a continuation of the EU-LAC ResInfra project and aims to strengthen bi-regional collaboration between the European Union and Latin America and the Caribbean in the field of Research Infrastructures The project brings together a comprehensive consortium of 20 partners consisting of EU and LAC government representatives responsible for research infrastructure policy development at the national level, research, technology and development funding agencies from European countries, as well as established European Research Infrastructures. The project implements three pilot actions, in priority areas for scientific cooperation between EU and LAC, these are: Instruct-ERIC [Biology], LifeWatch ERIC [Ecosystems and Biodiversity] and MIRRI-ERIC [Microbiology and Biodiversity]. [ESP] EU-LAC RESINFRA PLUS es un proyecto financiado por el programa Horizon 2020 (Programa Marco de la UE para R&I), como continuación del proyecto EU-LAC ResInfra y tiene el objetivo de profundizar la colaboración birregional entre la Unión Europea y Latinoamérica y el Caribe en materia de Infraestructuras de Investigación. El proyecto reúne un amplio consorcio de 20 socios conformado por representantes gubernamentales de la UE y LAC responsables del desarrollo de políticas de infraestructuras de investigación a nivel nacional, agencias de financiación de investigación, tecnología y desarrollo de países europeos, así como Infraestructuras de Investigación Europeas consolidadas. El proyecto implementa tres acciones piloto, en áreas prioritarias para la cooperación científica entre UE y LAC, estas son: Instruct-ERIC [Biologia], LifeWatch ERIC [Ecosistemas y Biodiversidad] and MIRRI-ERIC [Microbiologia y Biodiversidad].
