Founded in 2012, Resonance has quickly established itself as a vibrant a cappella group with a unique sound and a high level of musical excellence, becoming one of UCLA’s premiere vocal ensembles. In 2014 and 2016, the group qualified and performed for an audience of 10,000 at UCLA's Spring Sing, the university's largest and most competitive musical showcase. From 2015 and onwards, Resonance has competed in the Los Angeles A Cappella Festival (LAAF) and the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA), placing several times and receiving numerous awards for outstanding arrangements, soloists, and vocal percussion. In 2017, Resonance also recorded and released their first studio album, “In This Light”, which is available on most major music streaming platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. Guided by their passion for singing, performing, and companionship, Resonance hopes to share their music with their community and make a lasting impact on each and every one of their audiences. As such, Resonance can be found performing at at a number of philanthropy events and concerts across California, the greater Los Angeles area, and on their school campus.
