Retorix is a Ghent-based agency, founded by competitive debater and lawyer Laura Cools. Retorix offers interactive workshops and training in debate and public speaking skills to both small and large groups, students or professionals.
What once started as a student hobby (in 2016, Laura founded Debating Society Ghent as a law student and took part in many (inter-)national debating competitions), has now grown into a much-sought after debating agency.
In the meantime, we have succesfully provided many dozens of trainings and workshops to e.g.:
- schools and universities (debating as a teaching method, single session or fully developped trajectory, coaching students in debating competitions, etc.)
- companies and organisations (teambuilding or customized training)
- political organisations (debate skills training)
- cultural societies (coordinating or assisting to debating events, moderation of debates, etc.)
