The Retro World Series is the premiere name for classic gaming tournaments. From the first-time player to professionals, the Retro World Series offers the
opportunity to experience classic gaming at its finest.
Founded in 2015, the Retro World Series has traveled across the country holding retro gaming tournaments. From versus to high score to speedrun tournaments, over 500 players participated in the 2016 season of the Retro World Series.
During a season, the Retro World Series holds “satellite tournaments” at various locations and conventions. Participants in these satellite tournaments have the opportunity to win prizes, be awarded entries in the end-of-year Main Event, and earn points towards the Player of the Year award.
Each season concludes at the Main Event with a finale of bigger and better tournaments, points, and prizes.
