REVALIM is a French scientific group with the primary goal of enhancing environmental assessments, particularly Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), for agricultural and agri-food products. Established in 2021, the REVALIM scientific group (GIS REVALIM) builds upon the work carried out by Agribalyse partners since 2009, fostering collaboration among INRAE, ADEME, ACTA, and ACTIA, which encompass various French technical centers and institutes.
Members of REVALIM collaborate to:
*Contribute new knowledge by "developing and consolidating methodologies for calculating the environmental impact of agricultural and food products, with a focus on LCA."
*Enhance this knowledge by "producing data and tools that can facilitate the eco-design of agricultural and food activities," including the continuous updating and enrichment of the AGRIBALYSE® database.
*Establish a long-term scientific network for the environmental assessment of agricultural and food products.
*Lead a scientific community dedicated to advancing environmental assessment methodologies in the agricultural and food sectors.
