Established in 2016, REVEL (Real Experiences Vital for Enhancing Life) originated to address the gap in services for individuals with autism during the transition to adulthood, tackling challenges like social isolation and unemployment. Our mission is to bridge the gap to adulthood for people with autism and IDDs to live meaningful, enriched lives.
REVEL is dedicated to empowering individuals with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs), fostering a seamless integration into the community, and unlocking their full potential. Committed to catalyzing empowerment and driving transformative change, our programs significantly boost self-confidence and social skills for holistic development translating into self-sufficiency, and social and professional skills.
Centered on our clients, we tailor our care to their individual needs, recognizing and affirming the diverse range of neurodiversity in each person. Committed to evidence-based care, REVEL offers a range of services like Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Pivotal Response Training, and Naturalistic Teaching. Our fundamental therapeutic strategy is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a research-backed method celebrated for its effectiveness in learning and behavior. ABA improves social skills, coping mechanisms, teamwork, and employment skills, fostering positive behaviors while addressing barriers to learning. Our ABA therapy is designed for real-world situations. In Colorado, REVEL is distinguished for providing a holistic and inclusive environment that respects individual neurodiversity.
Current Programs
REV Up Employment (Focus for the grant request): Individuals with autism and intellectual/developmental disabilities gain and boost employment skills through our 8-week Pre-Employment Transition Skills Class, job coaching for individual and group support, career goal setting, overcoming barriers, on-site coaching and support, and employer training.
