The RevivalResurrection Collective—known online as @rrcollective_—is a maximalist ministry that empowers marginalised voices through eco-art practices such as upcycling and sustainable design. We transform these materials into bold artistic expressions rooted in folklore.
Our pieces aim to preserve traditional Nigerian craftsmanship and address Nigeria's waste problem through promoting eco-friendly art solutions and by up-cycling materials into timeless creations that invites folks to step into the beauty of circularity, while simultaneously, catalysing sustainable development in personal climates.
It was founded in 2020 by British-Nigerian, self-taught, mixed media, pop artist T. J. Kolawole, the Collective stands at the intersection of art and sustainable fashion.
