Our agency was established in 1975 with a vision for Native Americans to succeed and achieve success to fulfill their dreams. We are a non-profit organization operating independently and welcome all unemployed enrolled tribal members to participate in our programs and services.
The Rhode Island Indian Council and it's satellite offices, provide career assistance to tribal members so that our community can continue to flourish for generations to come.
We service all Native Americans seeking employment, skills training, and employment assistance. Serviceable individuals must be enrolled in a state or federally recognized tribe and reside in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware, New Jersey and New York. Our goal is to create employable individuals and assist in giving our tribal members economic independence and guidance.
