Rhythm Abroad's host, Brittany Pierce, is a true experiential traveler. She takes viewers on a cultural odyssey in each episode as she travels the world fully immersing herself into the local culture by experiencing the fun and challenges of learning the national or popular dance of the country visited. However, she is not a professional dancer; she is the girl next door who appreciates a great beat. Whether it's learning to Tango in the pulsating streets of Argentina or learning to belly dance in Turkey, she does it all even if out of her comfort zone. Off the dance floor, Brittany talks to local musicians to gain a better understanding of a culture through its music. She also savors the cuisine, enjoys the thrills of local activities and uncovers the most unique places to stay and shop. Wherever Brittany is in the world, she finds dance and music to be the universal languages that bridge cultural divides and unite humanity.
