Ieder jaar tijdens het Pinksterweekend draait het in het centrum van Raalte allemaal om die bijzondere combinatie van dampende blues- en rootsmuziek en rokende grills met daarop overheerlijke spareribs. Ribs & Blues, in 2015, 2016 en 2018 uitgeroepen tot het beste Bluesfestival van Europa, is een begrip voor tienduizenden bezoekers uit Nederland en daarbuiten en draait in 2025 haar 27e editie van het festival.
