Founded in 1993, River View Christian Academy is a fully accredited private Christian residential boarding school dedicated to helping struggling teen girls and their families.
RVCA is designed to be a safe, structured environment in order to give them the best opportunity to focus on their education without distraction. We do not discriminate against students who have had behavioral issues and will accept any student qualified for public school even if they have been expelled.
We restore teens to a healthy outlook on life through loving redirection, teaching life skills and building character through integrity, boundaries, and self control.
We serve all families, regardless of religion, beliefs, or background. Although RVCA is a Christian organization, students and parents are not required or pressured to participate in spiritual activities.
We provide a high staff-to-student ratio with an individualized curriculum and program for each student. Due to our year-round educational system, students have the opportunity to catch up in school if they are behind.
Another unique and important aspect of RVCA is parent involvement in the child’s education. We provide monthly parent-teacher conferences and support meetings as well as eight months of Post Graduate Home Support.
