RNP Associates have undertaken a wide range of engineering projects and are fluent and well versed in Eurocodes and historic codes of practice - steelwork, timber, masonry, concrete, foundations, access scaffolds, falseworks etc. We came from a major contractors design office so we are used to working in a main contracting environment and controlling construction processes. We have a vast knowledge of temporary works equipment from suppliers such as RMDK, Mabey, A-Plant, SGB, MGF, Groundforce etc. and are CITB Health & Safety trained. We routinely check and prepare many method statements and risk assessments and are aware of designers and contractors obligations under CDM2007 and other UK regulations and legislation.
Our design engineers have dealt with a wide range of temporary works activities from simple crane foundations through to heavy bridge jackings. We have completed many major projects including facade retentions, bridge propping, deep excavations, cut and carve demolition etc. in addition to undertaking routine day to day temporary works activities such as timber headings, settlement calculations for UTX, formworks/falsework, tower crane bases and piling mat design.
