Road Rules Africa is a privately owned pan African startup founded to be a pioneer of innovative driver education, road traffic safety and mobility technologies in Africa.
In Zimbabwe we have received the support of the Government of Zimbabwe through the Office of The President and Cabinet, the Ministry of Information Communication Technology and the Zimbabwe Youth Council.
Our vision is to drive a premiership role in the adoption and use of traffic safety innovations in Africa.
After competing with over 250 companies in the Total Africa Startupper of the Year 2016 Challenge, Road Rules won 3rd prize in Zimbabwe. When Road Rules was still at concept stage, we won the DEMO Africa 2015 competition, as one of Africa’s top 30 startup ideas with the potential to scale and grow across Africa.
In 2014 the company won 2nd place in the Ampion Venture Bus Southern Africa, a regional startup competition that took place on a bus which traveled 3,500kms across Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa in five (5) days with the event culminating at the Master Class Stage at the Africa Com 2014 conference.
The company competed with more than 160 competitive companies and became a finalist during the 2015 Innovation Baraza competition, which was run by the UDUGU Institute.
