Roberson Haworth & Reese, P.L.L.C. is the oldest law firm in High Point, North Carolina, and the firm can trace its history to the early 1900s. Col. Wescott Roberson (1875-1938) was admitted to practice law in 1898. Col. Roberson partnered with Horace Starbuck Haworth (1892-1978) and Edward C. Jerome in 1923. By 1924, Mr. Jerome had left the firm, and Owen Reese had joined creating the firm’s name which has continued since that time.
The firm was a founding member of the High Point Chamber of Commerce in 1925 and concentrated its practice in the areas of commercial and real estate law, wills and estate planning, and litigation. Over the years the firm has expanded to include such practice areas as municipal law, bankruptcy and taxation. The firm remains committed providing our clients with talent, teamwork and tradition.
