RQP Group runs creative development platforms for youth in Aotearoa. Our platforms aim to build confidence and develop the leaders of tomorrow.
RQP began producing Smokefreerockquest in 1988. Since then the suite of activity has grown to include other music platforms - Smokefree Tangata Beats and Rockshop Bandquest. In 2017 Rockquest Promotions were successfully awarded the rights to produce a new performing arts platform named Showquest.
Smokefreerockquest is a live, nationwide competition for high school bands.
Smokefree Tangata Beats is a live, nationwide competition for high school bands that recognises the unique cultural identity of Aotearoa, New Zealand.
Rockshop Bandquest is a live, nationwide competition for Primary & Intermediate bands.
Showquest is a performing arts competition for ākonga year 1-13 around New Zealand. This includes a nationwide tour of Aotearoa with live shows, Toi - a wearable art competition in collaboration with World of WearableArt & OnScreen - a short film competition for high school students.
Our roster has expanded to include digital platforms OnScreen (short filmmaking) and Stills (photography).
