I am a Photographer who’s had the privilege to follow my passion and make it my profession. Over a decade of corporates got me thinking of looking at life through a different set of lenses, so I decided to follow my heart and that started my journey as a professional photographer.
My passion for travel enabled me to document people, cultures and traditions, unveiling a rare glimpse at humanity’s hidden stories. This provided me opportunities to work with NGO’s and concerned organisations.
Working on various issues concerning UN, Human Rights, Tribals, Social and Environmental causes. I’ve had the opportunity to produce various photo essays & stories. Also worked for the dailies(TOI). Links for my work are below in the mail.
I have undertaken various photography assignments which enriched my knowledge on different genres, lighting effects etc. However, the real learning has been in understanding and studying how to approach different projects subjects, communities and people. This greatly impressed on my sensibilities w.r.t. the environment-blending in, ethics and aesthetics which enable me to make story telling images.
