The association "RohstoffWissen!" - Initiative zur Förderung der Rohstoffkultur e.V. bundles and disseminates scientifically sound information from the entire raw materials sector as a neutral and independent actor. We want to reduce society's unfounded reservations about raw material projects, especially with regard to domestic raw material extraction, and objectify the discussion about raw material projects in order to achieve a broad social dialogue.
We want to improve awareness of the all-embracing importance of raw materials, facilitate understanding of the necessities and dependencies, present benefits and values, raise awareness of the responsible use of raw materials and thus promote society's support for sustainable raw material exploration, extraction and processing while maintaining fairness, participation and transparency, and to achieve and cultivate a broad dialogue between all stakeholders.
This is how the association RohstoffWissen! counteracts disinformation and fake news on a scientific basis and creates clarity on all issues relevant to raw materials.
