住宅分野に関しては、住宅ストックが余りあるにもかかわらず「過ごしたい空間がなかなか見つからない。」などのご相談に対し、年間80〜90件ほどのリノベーション・コンバージョン案件に携わり、クライアントのニーズに対応してきました。近年、取り沙汰されている空き家問題に対しては2015年から「カリアゲ」という自主プロジェクトを立ち上げ、所有者が再投資の難しい空き家を自社で借上げ、リノベーション投資を行い、運営する事業を始めています。人口減少下において衰退していくとされる我が国において、経済成長時とは異なるビジネスモデルを構築しながら、建築領域だけにとらわれることなく、積極的にこれからの可能性を探っていきたいと考えています。
