The men behind Ropes are two experienced ropeway engineers who previously worked for many years at one of the world’s leading ropeway manufacturers. Since the company’s foundation in 2013, we use our profound knowledge and long experience to help other companies that want to get their own ropeway project off the ground. Our headquarters are located in the town of Vintl in South Tyrol (Italy), and our Munich branch covers the German market.
We focus on ropeway engineering, including design and consulting, planning, project planning and realization as well as ropeway inspections with approvals, periodic inspections and component testing.
Moreover, we take on the task of master planning for skiing regions and recreation areas, including all stages from analysis and conception to business planning and realization.
In the areas of architecture and project management, we cover all relevant tasks: conception and design, planning and engineering, calling for tenders as well as realization.
With over 50 ropeways designed and built for a well-known ropeway manufacturer at locations around the world, Ropes can draw on a wide range of experiences. Using a certified calculation program, we are one of only a few planning offices that can calculate rope lines according to EN 12930 and offer you extensive engineering services for the construction of new and second-hand ropeways as well as for modifications, material ropeways and special solutions. In cooperation with diverse civil engineers, we prepare licensable planning documents for you.
