The Run Like A Mother® 5K is an inspiring, celebratory event involving the entire family.
The annual Mother’s Day race takes place in multiple cities across the country on
Mother’s Day. Each event kicks off with a timed 1-mile Kid’s race and continues with a
women-only 5K on courses that wind through picturesque neighborhoods, scenic parks
and city streets. Hundreds of friends and family members line the finish cheering on
the athletes while a festive party featuring live entertainment, food, refreshments and
sponsor tents awaits all finishers, continuing the celebration.
Our passionate participants include moms, daughters, sisters, grandmothers and
everyone in between and range from first-timers to seasoned athletes. One thing they all
have in common is a commitment to do something for themselves; something to better
themselves physically, mentally and emotionally. The result forever changes Mother’s
Day for all participants; an unspoken camaraderie and sense of empowerment washes
over the entire event.
