“Krievu balss Latvijai” (Russian Voice for Latvia) is a democratic organization of Russian-speaking residents of Latvia established in 2022 with the mission to foster a unified political nation in Latvia, promoting values of freedom, democracy, and human rights rooted in European ideals. The organization actively engages in public initiatives, including protests and rallies, to express its stance against Russian interference in Latvian internal affairs and to show solidarity with Ukraine in its fight for independence. “Krievu balss Latvijai” is a member of Latvia’s Civic Alliance, collaborates with the U.S. Embassy in Riga and Latvian NGOs to bridge social divides and strengthen a Latvian identity that respects cultural diversity within a democratic framework.
