The idea behind the app came from Shelley’s frustration as a pharmacist,
“about how much time I was spending on billing insurance companies which took away from the time I had available to help my patients. I wanted an easy way to access the needed information quickly and especially after hours. Working closely with the technicians I found that we all had the same issues and were wasting about 15 hours per month on the phone. With the capability and convenience of app tech today, I knew there had to be a better and more efficient way. Since there is currently nothing available in the marketplace to assist pharmacists and technicians to bill efficiently, Rx Billing Genie was born.”
