The founding members formed in 1992 as the Solar Division within Samsung Electronics and the company was eventually spun-out in 2001 as an independent company. S-Energy operates with offices in Korea, Japan, EU, and US. Currently, our EU office is supplying to major distributors in the EU market, such as Donauer Solartechnik, Franken Solar and Albatech. In March 2011, the company established S-Energy's American branch located in Irvine, CA, a wholly-owned subsidiary. S-Energy America has been aggressively growing its presence in the North American market specializing in PV module sales, project development and project financing.
