Shop & Carry pharmacy is an independent community pharmacy located in the Logan/ Fern Rock neighborhood of upper North Philadelphia. It was founded in 2015 by Dr. John Raju and Dr. Jittu George with the mission to serve the underprivileged and under-served in the community.
Our goal is to help maximize the benefits pharmacists can provide by maximizing meaningful patient engagements. These personal interactions allow pharmacists to help patients adhere to their medications. Improved adherence leads to improved outcomes, which lead to healthier patients.
Our array of services include free medication delivery, no cost blister packaging, copay assistance for those who can’t afford it, assistance signing up for brand name drug programs, immunization services, Vivitrol, Invega and Haloperidol administration services, dedicated in house pharmacy and pharmacist access, smoking cessation counseling, Narcan program set up and training, MTM (medication therapy management), and etc.
