The Student Service Center (SSC) opened in the Spring 2016 at Sac State. The vision of this Center was to be a one-stop location for student services and minimize the number of locations a student will need to visit to get their questions answered about their financial and academic records. They are the largest office in Lassen Hall, located on the first floor in Room 1000. The Center provides students with a wide range of information and transactions related to enrollment, registration, financial aid, and many more services on behalf of Student Affairs and the University.
About the Team:
The team consists of advisors, coordinators, and student staff. They operate as a unit under the supervision of the Director of the SSC. They are the first responders to students at the front line and students in distress. Handling all cases with the utmost care and sincerity by offering guidance and support. They are investigators who untangle student cases and bring clarity to all sorts of student questions. Part of this team is our amazing student staff who are working two jobs, being a student, and supporting our Center. The Center is intended to be "student lead" -- for the students by the students. The team has a silly, caring, and goofy personality. They go above and beyond to help a student and are the definition of "students come first."
