Ririki Haumaru | Safekids Aotearoa is the national lead organisation for haumarutanga (unintentional childhood injury prevention and mokopuna safety promotion) in Aotearoa. We are dedicated to keeping tamariki safe and reducing the incidence and severity of preventable injuries. We do this through research, policy, advocacy, health promotion interventions, workshops, wānanga and partnerships with key national and regional stakeholders.

To reduce the incidence and severity of unintentional injuries to children aged 0 to 14 years.
Our vision
That children in New Zealand are free to enjoy their childhood without being adversely affected by unintentional injuries.
