Training on 200+ years of attack and marine weather data, we're able to provide a 7 day risk forecast based on the location, date and 40 marine weather variables. Our test data revealed an 82% accuracy in classifying previous attack days/locations as "high risk" days. Safewaters.ai does not "predict" shark attacks. We offer risk forecasts based on past shark attack data. It is not a predictive tool but an informational resource to aid personal safety decisions. A “High Risk” day is a day where the conditions, location, and date line up to previous attacks. We disclaim liability for any harm or loss occurring despite the indicated risk level.
