Sahara Impact Ventures is an Accra based investment advisory and impact fund manager investing in early and growth stage businesses at the nexus of climate change and gender disparity in frontier markets.
Our First Fund is dedicated to high growth sectors and impactful businesses building the 'Just Transition' and that have the potential to leapfrog into industry giants. We focus on tech enabled SMEs in West Africa (Ghana and Nigeria) operating in three interactive systems; Sustainable Food Systems, Clean Energy Systems and Increased Access (to Financial Services, Healthcare & Education). Beyond capital, we also provide technical assistance support to improve operational efficiency & governance, mitigate risk and support the implementation of value creation strategies.
Leveraging our investment funds, we aim to address the key climate vulnerabilities Africa is faced with; Food Security and Clean Energy Access while creating jobs for the youth and alleviating poverty.
