Sahyadri Nisarga Mitra (SNM) is a prominent non-governmental organization (NGO) headquartered in Chiplun, Maharashtra, dedicated to conserving nature through scientific research, education, community engagement, and sustainable actions. Since 1992, SNM has spearheaded biodiversity conservation initiatives across the Konkan region, combining grassroots efforts with scientific rigor to protect endangered species and empower local communities.
