Technology learns to sail. That is the slogan of the Sailing Team Darmstadt. We have made it our mission to accomplish what has never been done before: to develop a sailboat that can cross the Atlantic unmanned and energy self-sufficient.
For this purpose, we work together in interdisciplinary teams that deal with tasks in the fields of energy supply, course finding, electronics, control engineering, mechanics, organization, software and much more.
Since 2015 we are working on our second prototype which we will send across the Atlantic.
