For over 20 years, I have worked in the medical/surgical device industry. Specifically, my company's focus has been in Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery. I am passionate about our work supporting a variety of medical professionals in the US and abroad. Our array of devices, products and services are typically designed to help streamline procedures, tools, and resources leveraged in the operating room.
Recruiting talented people has grown Salient in to an industry player, always looking to expand our relationships further. Our dominance has been in the Central United States. However, our experience has been leveraging our extensive and longstanding national relationships to launch innovative devices across North America.

Founding product launches include:
- Creating the prototype, and cadaver testing the first FDA approved sternal clamping device; Talon, now marketed in the U.S. by KLS Martin. Saw project through to lucrative royalty agreement.
- Co-developed the Ali Krisht Intraoperative Neuro Device (KIND) balloon. Saw project through to royalty agreement and market launch.
- Co-Founded MedXpert North America. The Chest Wall Company, making innovative devices for chest wall reconstruction. Sold interest in company back to German based owners of MedXpert EU in 2014.
