As part of SAGE, the GEM (Grandma Earth Mission) Project was launched as a pilot in collaboration with Books33, a unit of Aadya Green Gifting Pvt. Ltd. Together, they created a series of 17 storybooks, each addressing one of the 17 SDGs. These books are designed for children aged 6 to 10 to raise awareness about global sustainability challenges such as climate change, poverty, and gender equality. By engaging children at an early age, the GEM Project seeks to instill values of environmental and social responsibility, preparing young minds to address global challenges and contribute to a sustainable future.
Through the SAGE initiative, SAMVAW collaborates with academic institutions, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and self-help groups (SHGs) to expand its reach and impact at the grassroots level. These partnerships enable the Foundation to implement contextually relevant and sustainable projects across communities.
