In 2000, brothers Pat and Mike Sanford, along with their friend Tim Pegg, couldn’t find the authentic New York–style pizza they craved in Chelsea, Alabama — so they did what true pizza lovers do: they made their own.
From a small neighborhood shop, SanPeggios was born, serving hand-tossed, made-to-order pizzas with homemade sauce, premium meats, fresh cheeses, and locally sourced veggies. What started as a local favorite quickly grew into a name synonymous with quality, comfort, and community.
