Student Alumni Relations Cell (SARC), BIT Mesra

Student Alumni Relations Cell (SARC) is a student organization, which is run by the students of BIT Mesra. The goal of the Student Alumni Relations Cell(SARC) is to foster a strong relationship between the alumni and students for the sustainable growth and well being of such individuals who connect to BIT Mesra. It gives a chance, to both the alumni and students alike, to network, ensure visibility and growth of individuals at all levels. With SARC as a medium, our alumni are able to pro-actively contribute their competencies towards the betterment of their alma mater. Objectives: - The Cell identifies the following functions as its objectives: (1) To keep alumni in touch with the institute (2) To build a network for healthy interaction among students and alumni: • To make present students inspired by the achievements of their alumni. • To help alumni stay updated on the youth culture by interacting with young minds from their own alma mater. • To establish relations of mentorship and support between settled alumni and struggling students. • To foster relationships that supersede time and distance. (3) To create opportunities for alumni involvement in placements, internships, and other spheres of industrial and academic interest.
