It brings great pleasure for Greg Treasure and David Tauti to announce that CORE have decided to enter into a definitive merger agreement with SAS Water Solutions, increasing our capabilities within the Water industry.
Effective immediately, CORE Water Management Solutions has changed our name to SASCORE Water Solutions Pty Ltd and will be headed up by our newly formed Executive Leadership Team, consisting of Andy Dowdeswell as Managing Director, Greg Treasure as National Technical Services Director, David Tauti as National Business Development Director, Wendy Blackadder as National Human Resource Manager and Prasanna Jayaweera as Group Financial Controller/Company Secretary.
The merger with SAS, further strengthens our position in the industrial and commercial markets in Australia and NZ. The combination of SAS’s capabilities, specifically their engineering projects team - who - combined with CORE’s expertise in the industrial process water markets, will provide our customers with a single point contact for all water treatment needs. This partnership is also expected to provide greater operating efficiencies to significantly increase the value of our deliverable services.
SAS have also been operating since 2003 but in slightly different market sectors, mainly commercial building services HVAC (heating ventilation and air-conditioning), for all the major hospitals, health services, commercial high rise and Defence. In addition to this market, SAS has an in-house Engineering Department who design and build tailored engineered wastewater re-use systems, and packaged plant for potable drinking and sewage treatment plants. To complement the design team, SAS also has a dedicated Engineering Services Team who build, install, commission, and carry out planned & reactive operations & maintenance on these plants.
