SATLOG's hardware and software solutions simplify, automate and optimize common logistics workflows for customers spanning a variety of industries and delivery requirement (inner city, regional, long distance). Examples include but are not limited to construction material deliveries, fresh food supplies to restaurants and beverage deliveries to supermarkets.
SATLOG provides Android-based hardware that is installed in a vehicle. It allows to push orders/updates to the driver as well as delivery confirmations (signed PDFs), current GPS locations and telematic data (e.g.speed, fuel consumption by LANTRONIX trackers) back to the SATLOG system (in the Oracle Cloud). Communication is REST based and typically uses the JSON format.
SATLOG's solution is integrated with the customers ERP and order processing systems (e.g., CSB) so that orders and status updates get automatically synced between the vehicle and the customers systems, by the Oracle Cloud.
Beyond delivery processing SATLOG provides Tourplanning (by HERE Technologies), SYGIC navigation, cost/performance tracking and optimization (from the fleet down to the individual vehicle) and load optimization (pallet positioning in trucks synced to tablets on forklift).
